Records show that Islamic societies inspired by Qu'ranic guidelines and examples of Prophet Muhammed(P.B.U.H) examplied very deeply held Green Ethos. Environmental and Ecological Ethics were deeply inbedded in the flowering of Islamic medicine, architecture, farming, warfare, and trade negotiations.
Today, Muslims and fellow citizens of this Earth may need to reminded that the greatness of Islamic cultures and civilizations living a sustainable lifestyle based on major Islamic principles of:
1. Tauheed - Oneness of God's Creation
2. Fitra - Natural State of Being)
3. Mizan - Maintaining God's Balance
4. Khalifah - Responsibilities on Earth
